"Buenos dias", "buenas noches" -- this was the first words in a foreign language I heard in my life, as a three-year old boy growing up in developing post-war Western Germany, where the first gastarbeiters had arrived from Spain. Fascinated by the strange sounds, I tried to get to know some more languages, the only opportunity being TV courses of English and French -- there was no foreign language education for pre-teen school children in Germany yet in those days. We are pleased to announce the conference ‘Cross-linguistic Priming in Bilinguals: Perspectives and Constraints’, which will be held on 9-10-11 September 2013 at Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The conference is aimed at bringing together different perspectives on the processes and consequences of cross-linguistic priming in bilingual speakers.

The conference is free of charge. We are currently looking for funding to cover (part of) the accommodation expenses for accepted papers.
