"Buenos dias", "buenas noches" -- this was the first words in a foreign language I heard in my life, as a three-year old boy growing up in developing post-war Western Germany, where the first gastarbeiters had arrived from Spain. Fascinated by the strange sounds, I tried to get to know some more languages, the only opportunity being TV courses of English and French -- there was no foreign language education for pre-teen school children in Germany yet in those days. Meeting Description: International Organization of Social Sciences and Behavioral Research is an international society of scholars, academicians, and practitioners who exchange ideas and collaborate in a conference setting. IOSSBR has a wide range of participation from various countries. In the last decade IOSSBR has had participants from 35 different countries around the world.

IOSSBR facilitates participants with online presentations via Skype for participants with limited funding or the inability to travel. From your webcam and computer, you can present your research and get feedback as if you were at the conference. The online presentation involves simple steps and the participants on site can interact with the presenter and give comments and questions. The online participant’s presentation is given the same consideration through the voting process and can be voted best paper as much as other participants.

Topics covered for the conference (and journal) include but are not limited to: Anthropology, Archaeology, Communication, Criminal Justice, Economics, Education, Geography, Health Care, History, Interdisciplinary Studies, International Relations, Linguistics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Women's Studies, and other related studies.
