Story behind this recipe

Being British, what I mean by chips is of course what most of the rest of the world call fries. Except that British chips tend to be fatter, more squishy and greasy than french fries.

This is an ideal accompaniment to beer.


Lots of fat greasy chips.
White stody, sliced bread.
Ketchup (brown or tomato, depending on preference)

Cooking Instructions

Cram tons of chips between two slices of buttered bread.
Cover liberally with ketchup.
Nosh, Trough and generally masticate until you feel incredibly full and generally unwell.
Wash down with copious quantities of Real Ale.
