Triple Marinated Chicken

Story behind this recipe

Here is one of my favorite recipes. Since I obey Jewish religious laws for food (Kashrut), there is plenty of "cultural elements", too. Bon Appetit!


500 g/1 lb chicken pieces

Combine in a small bowl:
2 tbsp vinegar
3 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp paprika

Sprinkle the chicken with:
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1 glove garlic, peeled and finely chopped
1/2 tsp pepper

Cooking Instructions

Place chicken in a casserole dish. Pour mixture over the chicken and let stand for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350°F/200°C. Sprinkle chicken with the dry mixture. Cook for an hour. Remove the lid and return to the oven for 30 min. Serve with rice.
