    Dear Friends,

I am looking for a current reference discussing how difficult or arbitrary it is to define word, with a particular focus on English. Does anyone know of a fairly current journal article or book that talks about this?

    thanks,

    Jerry

Does anyone know of any reliable research showing the effect of class size on achievement in the second-language classroom?

    Any leads would be appreciated.
