    The December 1998 issue of Language contains an article by Neidle, MacLaughlin, Lee, Bahan, and Kegl: "The Rightward Analysis of Wh-Movement: A Reply to Petronio and Lillo-Martin 1997" (pp. 819-831).

    Unfortunately, several passages from our article did not appear in the printed version. Those sections are available from our Web site for anyone who is interested:

    A longer article on this subject (in portable document format) is also available to be downloaded from this site: "Wh-Questions in ASL: A Case for Rightward Movement" by the same authors.

    In addition, digitized movies exemplifying the constructions discussed in both papers, as signed by native signers, are available for downloading.
