    My dear colleages,

    I am doing research on temporality in French and in German. I would ask a native French and a native German speaker what kind of difference do they feel in following sentences:

    A) J'tais aujourd'hui au supermarch pour acheter des stylos. J'ai t aujourd'hui au supermarch pour acheter des stylos.

    B) J'tais hier au supermarch pour acheter des stylos. J'ai t hier au supermarch pour acheter des stylos.

    A) Ich war heute in Supermarket, um Kugelschreiber zu kaufen. Ich bin heute in Supermarket gewesen, um Kugelschreiber zu kaufen.

    B) Ich war gestern in Supermarket, um Kugelschreiber zu kaufen. Ich bin gestern in Supermarket gewesen, um Kugelschreiber zu kaufen.

    My name is Scot Zola and I'm a student at Arizona State University. I'm currently trying to learn some Lakota, and not being fortunate enough to have access to a native speaker, I've run into a snag. I was hoping someone would know the answer to the following 2 questions:

    1) Is it possible to attach three pronouns to a stem without a preposition ? If so... 2) How would one say "I gave you him" or "You sent us her" ?

    Any information would be really helpful. Thanx.
