Subject: Articulatory Characteristics of Greek rho
I have a student who's doing a study of Greek-accented English, and
she's having trouble determining the articulatory characteristics of
Greek rho. Some of her references say it's a flap, others claim it's a
trill. Obviously, there's also the possibility that both can occur,
either dialectally or contextually. Can anybody sort this out for her?
