Subject: individual differences in second or foreign language communication
Hi,
I am working on a research about the communication
between foreign language learners. Observing from my
EFL classes as a teacher, I have noticed that
personality traits(individual differences) of the
students are very important for their communication
styles,strategies,prefences etc.(Especially, being
introvert vs.extrovert)
However, most of the studies were done about the
individual differences in learning styles of the
learners, not on communication strategies or styles.
I will appreciate any help about the references of the
studies or researches done in the field on individual
differences in communication or speaking
skills of L2 or EFL learners. Thanks for any help.

Subject: Question on Chinese characters
I am posting this question for a friend. Does anyone reading this list
know of a work on the grammar of Chinese character creation? That is,
the system involves combinations of symbols to create additional
symbols. My friend would like to know if this has been carefully
studied. Replies should be sent to: marciasuzukiyahoo.com
Thanks in advance for any help.
