I am a PhD student at the University of Cambridge researching syntactic variation in Afro-Caribbean French. I am urgently looking for an existing corpus preferably from Martinique, Gabon or Cameroon. Can any subscribers tell me if such a corpus exists at all, or failing that, I'd be very interested to at least hear from other subscribers working in this field.

We need some help with some native Alaskan languages.

Karen Dempsey Hayes at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago is preparing an educational program that involves cultures of the North Pacific. She needs to know how to count to ten in Tlingit, Innuit (Canadian near Churchill), Haida as well as know the words for sea otter, beluga, harbor seal, (pacific white-sided) dolphin. She also needs the same info in Russian. She also would need to know the pronunciation and how it is written.

Thanks very kindly for your help.
