    Experienced computational linguist to lead development and design of modular voice applications.

    Will work with a team of application designers and developers to design and develop modular, re-usable applications and grammar systems. Contributor will need to work closely with software development team to ensure coordination of linguistic and technical requirements. Technical experience or strength a plus using VoiceXML, SSML, and SRGF.

    The contributor will have commercial experience and an understanding and interest in the commercial applications of linguistic science. Also should have successfully managed to meet deadlines and business pressures.

    Ideal candidate will show proven experience and competency in the following areas:

    Speech Recognition - Different ASR techniques, algorithms and implementations. - Writing Natural Language grammars. - General turning of voice applications. - SR in telephony applications. Speech Synthesis - TTS Pronunciation tuning Linguistics - Prosodic Patterns - Mathematical Linguistics Artificial Intelligence - Natural Language Understanding Speech User Interface Design - Custom designs Human Factors - Natural interaction: mixed initiative dialogs - Intonation and wording - Conversation Flow

    Contributor will:

    - Lead in the planning and execution of short and long term goals for grammar development, coordinate work with programmers - Design and create grammars, both custom and universal. - Provide expertise of methods for testing the grammar rules to ensure adequate coverage and quality - Incorporate and improve the level of Natural Language Processing into future application development - Build and maintain a speech corpora for the continual improvement of speech application - Address all aspects of recognition problems, including accuracy, robustness and confidence

    Requirements: - Degree in computational linguistics or related area - Experience in the management of projects and people - Excellent communications - Ability to work under pressure
