    I'm interested in locating resources for the process of child acquisition of Creole (English-based or otherwise) in a household where at least the mother's native tongue is not Creole.     Hello,

    I am looking for some information into the linguistic usage of the word 'other'. I am trying to represent a particular sentence in a semantic network and I was wondering whether there were any linguistic references that have anything relevant to say on this matter.

    The sentence is of the form: x and other y yield z. What I want the network to infer is that either x is a y or x and y are members of the same class.

    In other words, we have a np followed by other np do the same thing.

    Please send me some references if possible.
