    Description:

    The Departments of Classics and Linguistics at Harvard University have been authorized to make an appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or untenured Associate Professor in the area of Greek and Latin historical linguistics. The initial contract will be for five years, beginning July 1, 2003. Candidates must show demonstrated promise of excellence in research and teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in other early Indo-European languages and cultural traditions.
