    Description:

    The Department of French at Dalhousie University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment as Lecturer/Assistant Professor (commencing July 1, 2003) in French Linguistics, with the field of specialization open. This position is subject to budgetary approval. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or Ph.D. in hand, preferably strong research programme, teaching experience and background directly related to teaching responsibilities. The selected candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The nature of the courses to be taught requires the candidate to be a native or near-native speaker of French. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The deadline for applications is December 31, 2002.
