    Date: Thursday, 5 December 2002, 6.15 - 8.00 p.m.

How to get there: Please note that this is not our usual place in the Strand. The venue at 150 Stamford Street is close to the traffic roundabout at the south end of Waterloo Bridge and the main entrance to Waterloo Station (Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern, British Rail). Take the underpass in the direction of The National Theatre and exit to Stamford Street where indicated. Buses include: 1, 4, 26, 68, 76, 77, 168, 171, 176, 178, 188, 211, 501, 505 and 521.

    Entrance free - all welcome.

This talk will be preceded by a brief A.G.M. of the Group (6.15 - 6.30 p.m.).

Please note that the committee would welcome new members, particularly for Treasurer or Auditor. If you might be interested in helping the committee contact any committee member for further information.

As usual, the committee will entertain the speaker afterwards in a local restaurant and participants are welcome to come along at their own expense to continue the discussion in more convivial surroundings. As this meeting is quite near Christmas we have had to book a limited number of places so if you would like to join us after the meeting please let the Secretary know as soon as possible so that we may book more places.

    For further details, please contact the Group's Secretary, Monique L'Huillier, 01784 443243 or 01276 20488 or m.l'huillierrhul.ac.uk.
