The Institut für Deutsche Sprache und Literatur II, Fachbereich 10,
Neuere Philologien invites applications for the position of Research
Assistant (BAT IIa). Appointments will be for an initial period of
three years commencing 1 April 2002 with the possibility of further
renewal. Applicants must have completed an M.A. in Linguistics,
preferably in the area of generative syntax. A fluent command of
German is also desired.
The successful candidate will commit him/herself to carry out
scientific research in the area of theoretical syntax. Further
requirements include general scientific as well as teaching duties
within the Department. The candidate will have the opportunity to
further his/her own research, especially with regard to a
PhD. Dissertation.
