    In a previous posting, I asked for assistance compiling a list of movies that show scenes of students and teachers in the classroom. Thanks to all who have replied so far. (A copy of my tentative list is included at the end of this message.)

    My intention is to compile a bibliographic resource for ESL instructors working with international teaching assistants (ITAs). I hope the final resource will be useful in a number of ways. Suggestions that I have received so far include:

    -an inventory of scenes that show 'good' and 'bad' teaching styles. -scenes which show how teaching styles in the US have changed over time. -scenes which show how different cultures define 'good' teaching. -scenes which show humor in the classroom. -scenes where teachers adapt to an individual class (away from their planned lesson).

    I would be grateful to you for a) additions to my movie list, and b) further suggestions about how these movies/scenes might be helpful in your work with ITAs.
