    Linguist List readers:

This regards an incorrect affiliation for Gene Casad that was ascribed in an April 3 notice re: September 2003 Cognitive Linguistics Conference to be held in Lodz, Poland in honor of Ronald W. Langacker. My affiliation was given as the University of Arizona. That is incorrect. My affiliation is really with the Summer Institute of Linguistics, both as a member of the Mexico Branch and as an International Linguistic Consultant for SIL International. It is true that the University of Arizona Press published the grammar of Yaqui that I co-authored with the late John Dedrick, but that does not in itself establish an official relationship with the University. I hope that this clarifies things for anyone who may have been mystified by it.
