Educational Testing Service has several junior-to senior-level

opportunities for researchers interested in the expanding area of
English Language Assessment (ELA). ETS's TOEFL (Test of English as a
Foreign Language) program is the premier English-as-a-second-language
assessment in the world, used by undergraduate and graduate
institutions worldwide. The services this program offers are
evolving, as we move towards assessments that are more informative and

contexts other than higher education, such as K-12 education and the
workplace, will also be conducted. Research opportunities are varied
and may include the development and validation of new kinds of
measures, investigations of new assessment capabilities, and studies
of the role of ELA in classroom contexts. Successful applicants will
have the opportunity and support to develop and implement a
comprehensive long-term research agenda in ELA.
