    Linguistics Department Simon Fraser University Position Announcement

    Limited Term Lecturer 1

    The Department of Linguistics at Simon Fraser University is accepting applications for a Limited Term Lecturer position to start September 1, 2004 and end August 31, 2005. The successful applicant will be asked to teach a total of 8 courses in Teaching English as a Second Language, including a practicum course, introductory phonetics and general linguistics. Simon Fraser operates on a trimester system with sessions in the Fall, Spring and Summer of 2004/2005. Candidates should hold a Ph.D (or be near completion) in linguistics and be able to demonstrate university level teaching ability. Candidates will be expected to have an active research record.

    Closing date for receipt of applications is May 30, 2004.
