    Meeting Description:

    The Tutorials program at Cognitive Science 2004 will be held on 4 August 2004. They will provide conference participants with the opportunity to gain new insights, knowledge, and skills from a broad range of areas in the field of cognitive science. Tutorial topics will be presented in a taught format and are likely to range from practical guidelines to academic issues and theory. This is the fourth year that tutorials in this format will be offered.

    Cognitive Science Conference Tutorial Program

    The Cognitive Science Conference will have a tutorial program this summer on August 4 in Chicago at the Westin River North Hotel.

    The tutorials are open to conference and non-conference participants. Students get a discount on the registration fee. This year's program includes the following tutorials:

    Towards Integrated Cognitive Architectures: Basic Agent Models Bonzon, Half-day (0915-1230)

    CHREST, a Tool for Teaching Cognitive Science Gobet and Lane, Half-day (1400-1715)

    ACT-R Tutorial Taatgen, Half-day (1400-1715)

    Bayesian Models of Inductive Learning Tenenbaum and Griffiths, Part 1: Half-day (0915-1230) Part 2: Half-day (2-515 pm)

    Development of Cognitive Agents Using the COGNET Architecture and iGEN Toolset Zachary and Szczepkowski, Half-day (0915-1230)
