Description:
Applications are invited for a full-time tenure-track position to
begin in February 2005. Qualified applicants should have a Ph.D in
Linguistics or Applied Linguistics. Specialization in any of the
following fields will be a plus: Cognitive Linguistics,
Psycholinguistics, Critical Discourse Analysis, Language Acquisition,
Translation and Interpreting (between Chinese and English), etc. The
qualified applicant should be a native speaker of English or have
near-native proficiency in English.
To teach 9 - 12 hours of various courses including language skills
courses and serve on special departmental and university committees.
Monthly salary between NT$64,000 and NT$83,000 depending on rank
(Present Exchange: NT$34=US$1), National Health Insurance, and New
Year Bonus.
