Teaching Fellow in Phonetics and Phonology (Fixed-term)
Salary from £22,500 pa, pro rata
The successful applicant will be required to provide undergraduate teaching in
phonology and practical phonetics, and to contribute to an MA Applied
Linguistics module in Phonetics and Phonology. Duties will involve lectures,
small-group teaching and assessment. There will be opportunities to give
specialist classes where appropriate. Applicants should have a good honours
degree in an appropriate subject, sound knowledge of aspects of phonetics and
phonology, and experience of teaching at undergraduate level. This post is
available for five months, from February to June 2005.
