Qs: Dates of Old English Corpus
Editor for this issue: Steven Moran <stevelinguistlist.org>
We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have taken the trouble to respond to the query.

Subject: Dates of Old English Corpus
Dear colleagues
I am using the dictionary of Old English corpus for diachronic work on
modality. It would be interesting to know when the texts/manuscripts
comprised by the corpus were actually written. It seems that the corpus
does not provide any such information.
Does any of you know how I can find out more about the dates at which the
different texts were composed?
Any tips and suggestions are welcome!
Thank you.
Best regards
