Organized by the Department of Modern languages, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
Major strands of the seminar include English for Specific Purposes, LSP Teaching
& Teacher Training, Communication, Research Issues, and Language Consultancy.

Objectives:

1) To investigate LSP developments in teaching and teacher training,
professional needs, communication, research and language consultancy.

2) To provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, insights, research findings
and expertise among LSP practitioners.

3) To strengthen collaboration between institutions of higher learning and
corporate sectors and industries.

Presentation format - Papers, Workshops, Posters, Multimedia/Video
Presentations, Demonstrations, Post-grad Research Presentations, and Commercial
Presentations.

Abstract - Not more than 200 words indicating Objectives, Methodology, Scope,
Main Findings/Key Issues. Submission of Abstracts: 30 September 2005.
