Meeting Description:
Applications of speech technology that are implemented in multilingual
environments have to be robust to variations in accent. The purpose of the
workshop is to address issues related to multilingual speech and language
processing. Workshop topics include (but are not limited to):
- Accent modelling for multilingual automatic speech recognition
- Accent identification
- Pronunciation variation modelling
- Multilingual speech synthesis
