Indian Journal of Applied Linguistics - IJOAL, is a peer-reviewedInternational Journal that has been publishing original research papersdevoted to Language and Linguistics for more than three decades. Itprovides a forum for the discussion of language related problems faced byL1 and L2 learners, the various language teaching methodologies adopted,apart from dealing with the general linguistic theories, and the branchesand sub branches of Linguistics.
The Vol. 33, No. 2, July-Dec 2007 of IJOAL has been planned on Strategiesin Learning and Using English as a Foreign/Second Language. It thus invitespapers on the following broad areas:1. Interlanguage Communication Strategies and their Teachability2. Language Learning Strategies3. Learner output4. Politeness Strategies
- The papers pertaining to the areas mentioned above should be written inEnglish, and be submitted in MS-Word format to the Guest Editor, Editors attheir contact addresses given below not later than 30th Dec 2006.
- Papers should not exceed 10,000 words and should be preceded by anabstract of 250 words. The title, the name(s) and full mailing address(es)of the author(s), including e-mail addresses, should appear on the firstpage of the manuscript.
- All papers submitted to IJOAL should be original, neither having beenpreviously published nor being considered elsewhere at the time ofsubmission.
- The editor will select contributions for the special issue and notifyauthors of acceptance or otherwise once reports are received from thereviewers.
- Authors should follow the APA manuscript format.
