Description:

Assistant Professor of Spanish. Two tenure-track positions, beginning Fall
2007, for specialists to teach courses in foreign language pedagogy, second
language acquisition, and Spanish language. Will work with graduate and
undergraduate teacher-training and certification programs. PhD in hand by
May, 07. Evidence of excellent teaching and strong commitment to research.
The Department offers the MA in Spanish with literature and linguistic
tracks and the MA in Teaching. The Linguistics Program offers the M.A. and
Ph.D. degrees.
