Abstract:

The collection of papers in this volume presents results of a collaborativeproject between the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) inLondon, the Zentrum für allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft, Typologie undUniversalienforschung (ZAS) in Berlin, and the University of Leiden, whichwas funded by the British Academy International Networks Programme. Thepapers combine the description of new data with theoretically informedanalysis.
