Rhythmic English Phrasing or REP is a temporary English sign systemmodified to help deaf children and their parents feel some of the currentsand categories of correct English... just as hearing children know whenEnglish sounds right.

Structuring around the (copular) BE-focus may tell us much more abouthow hearing children map English so easily and why deaf children often donot.

The site is just being completed, and I would love your thoughts. Pleasevisit: www.deafphrasing.com
