Description:

Assistant Professor in French linguistics with a specialization in one or more of the following areas: historical, syntax, or applied. Tenure track to begin fall 2007. Demonstrated teaching and research ability. Expected to teach undergraduate lower division courses in French language, upper division French language and linguistics courses, and graduate courses in French linguistics; to conduct research; and to serve on departmental committees. Native or near native proficiency in French. Ph.D in hand by December 31, 2006. Publications recommended.
