Subject: N of N Phrases
Hello,
I am conducting a research in English linguistics, which concerns with acertain type of N of N phrases like ‘a giant of a man’, ‘a love of achild’, ‘a monster of a dog’, etc. I collected a considerable amount ofdata with the examples of use of such types of phrases from the fictionbooks, but I would like to have a native speakers’ response (which is quitehard to do in this part of Russia I’m living in). What I need is just asmall form of 10 sentences with the gaps that has to be filled; it isavailable at http://www.globalnetworksystems.com/Form.doc .I'd be grateful if you could help me with that.
With best wishes,Anastasia Khudyakova
