Dear all:

We are interested in finding references on semantic/pragmatic approaches toquestions and assertions in English and Chinese. In particular, we areinterested in discussions on the hearer’s involvement with these speechacts, for example, regarding full questions (with subject verb inversion)and tag questions, as well as studies that discuss both questions andassertions. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
