Description:

The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at McGill University in Montreal invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. These are excellent career opportunities to join a dynamic department at an outstanding research university. Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field, evidence of scholarly excellence, including the potential to obtain external funding, and commitment to quality teaching. For one of the positions, preference will be given to qualified applicants with expertise in normal and/or impaired language development in children. For the other position, preference will be given to applicants with expertise in a domain of speech and hearing disorders other than child language or neurogenics. Duties include teaching of M.Sc./Ph.D. students in Speech-Language Pathology and research supervision of M.Sc./Ph.D. students in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The start date is Fall, 2007.
