The purpose of the symposium is to identify and analyze the relationships between language, human resources and welfare.
We invite researchers who are working on these or related areas to share their experience within the following topics:
Education, second language teaching and mother tongue.Sociolinguistics and language planning.Linguistic diversity and minority languages.Language shift, maintenance and revitalization.Linguistic rights.Multiculturalism, identity and power.Media and language policy.Language policy and social inequality.
The Symposium will take place at the Facultad de Lenguas (Faculty of Languages) of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (Autonomous University of the State of Mexico) in Toluca City.
