Are there any published evaluations/rankings of North American programs inspecifically Hispanic Linguistics? My searches for this have produced onlythe standard NRC rankings as follows:

1) the NRC's 1994-1995 rankings for Spanish Language and Literature - whichevaluate overall Spanish PhD programs (presumably including the Hispaniclinguistics component)

2) the NRC's 1994-1995 rankings for General Linguistics - which evaluateLinguistics PhD programs (where Hispanic linguistics PhD studentscould/would presumably do a portion of their linguistic graduate training)

(New NRC information appears to be scheduled for publication in 2007.)

Inquiries with my immediate colleagues in the field have not turned upanything further, so I am hoping that someone on the list will be able topoint me to some data.

Thank you.
