Description:

ESRC Funding available for UCL post-graduate students in Speech, Language and Cognition

UCL's Centre for Human Communication has been awarded a quota of two ESRC studentships for the academic year commencing October 2006.

ESRC studentships provide up to four years full funding for post-graduate training.

The CHC will consider applicants for ESRC studentships who intend to complete the MRes in Speech, Language and Cognition programme before continuing on to PhD research. We will also consider applicants who have the relevant ESRC-approved Masters-level training and who intend to undertake PhD research with a CHC-affiliated supervisor in a related subject area.

Applicants should download the ESRC's 'Guidance Notes for Applicants' and either the '1+3Q' application form or the '+3Q' application form, all available from http://www.esrcsocietytoday.ac.uk/ESRCInfoCentre/opportunities/postgraduate/fundingopportunities/1plus3_quota.aspx?ComponentId=13826&SourcePageId=304.

Applicants should complete Section 2 of either the '1+3Q' or the '+3Q' Form and return it to Richard Breheny at richardbling.ucl.ac.uk Phone:+44 (0)20 7679 3163
