Dear subscribers,

Have you recently published any linguistics books? Are you involved with any linguistics journals? Do you secretly create clever linguistics merchandise in your spare time and long to share it with the rest of the linguistics community?

If so, then LINGUIST needs your help! Fund Drive 2006 is quickly approaching, and we're looking for prize donations from our subscribers to be used in some of our Fund Drive puzzles, games, and random prize drawings.

If you donate a copy of your book, a subscription to your journal, or other linguistics-related prizes, you will not only be helping LINGUIST raise the funds we need to survive - you will also be creating publicity for your publication or creation! In exchange for prize donations, we will list our prize donators in Fund Drive emails and on our Fund Drive pages.

Please contact the 2006 Fund Drive Coordinators, Tanya Sydorenko (tanyalinguistlist.org) by no later than Tuesday, March 7 if you are interested in donating.

We think this year's Fund Drive will be one of our most entertaining and exciting yet, and we hope that you will consider donating prizes. Your fellow linguists will thank you!

We look forward to your responses.

Sincerely, The LINGUIST List Crew
