Description:

The Department of Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst has a visiting position available for 2006-07, contingent on funding.

Phonology: Full-year position as lecturer or visiting assistant professor. Specialization in phonological theory; secondary specialization in a related area (e.g., phonetics, computation, acquisition) is a plus. Teach two courses one semester, one the other. Ph.D. must be completed by September 2006. Salary: $45,000
