My name is Vanessa Manion, and I have been working for LINGUIST List for almost 2years. In the short time that I've been with LINGUIST List, my academic experiencehas been enriched by the daily exposure to many different aspects of linguistics. Myknowledge of the discipline has broadened thanks to the opportunity of being part ofsuch an amazing team.

It is estimated that more than 90% of all linguistics-related jobs are posted onLINGUIST. As the Jobs and Support Editor, I feel privileged and a sense of pridethat, in my own small way, I am helping countless linguists attain their careerambitions by daily updating our jobs and supports listings. As I read the submittedannouncements, I often imagine what an amazing opportunity it would be to work inanother country, with a diverse group of people, and experience a new culture.

LINGUIST List relies on the hard work of graduate students to maintain the dailyoperations of the web site.
