Meeting Description:

The annual conference of the Australasian Association for Lexicography will be held at the University of Adelaide on 25 September, 2007.

The theme for Australex 2007 is ''Specialist vocabulary and dictionaries''. Topics will include: Encyclopaedic entries (including place names, biographical entries etc.), dictionary-ese, technical vocabulary, terminology and terminography.

Registration AU$45 for members and AU$55 for non-members (See https://www.adelaide.edu.au/ilc2007/registration/)

Up to two student bursaries are available to help full-time students from Australia and New Zealand attend the conference and present a paper. See http://www.australex.org/bursary.htm for further details.
