Linguists may be interested in Terry Teachout's review of The Yale Book ofQuotations in the March 17th issue of the Wall Street Journal. The reviewfocuses on the YBQ's use of full-text historical online databases inresearching the origins of quotations and phrases. Among the databasesmentioned as being used are JSTOR, ProQuest Historical Newspapers, TimesDigital Archive, LexisNexis, Newspaperarchive, Questia, Eighteenth CenturyCollections Online, and Literature Online.
