The Sixth International Olympiad in Theoretical, Mathematical and AppliedLinguistics for secondary school students was held in the Black Sea resortSunny Beach, Bulgaria, from 4 to 9 August 2008.
The Olympiad saw the participation of 16 teams of four contestants each.Eleven countries were represented: Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, theNetherlands, Poland, Russia, Sweden, the US and (for the first time thisyear) Germany, Slovenia and South Korea.

Theproblems (statements and solutions)in the nine working languages of IOL-6 (Russian, Bulgarian, Slovene,Polish, Swedish, English, Dutch, German and Estonian) can also be found athttp://www.math.bas.bg/ml/iad/iol6pk/IOL6pbs.html.
If you can compose such problems, or would like to take part in theirediting (as a test solver, solvability prover, estimator of difficulty anddetector of parasitic solutions), or are interested in training a team ofsecondary school students for participation in forthcoming editions of theIOL, we would love to hear from you.
