Job Description:

1. The Institute of Linguistics invites applications for tenure-trackresearch-only positions (at the rank of Assistant Research Fellow orabove). Special consideration will be given to applicants with a researchfocus on theoretical linguistics, especially semantics.2. Applicants must already possess or will soon receive a Ph.D. degree.Non-citizen applicants are required to have a working knowledge of spokenand written Chinese.3. The starting salary of an Assistant Research Fellow, equivalent to auniversity assistant professor, is NT$ 1,022,558 per annum.

Applicants must submit (1) a letter of application, (2) curriculum vitaein English and Chinese, (3) publication list in English and Chinese, andcopies of representative publications for the last five years (Applicantsfor the assistant research fellow rank must submit his/her Ph.D.dissertation; or, if not yet defended, a draft of the completedissertation, (4) a research plan in English and Chinese that describes theapplicant's research goals for the next five years, and (5) names andcontact information of three references to the address below.3. Notification to shortlisted applicants will be given within one month.
