The Department of German Studies at the University of Goettingen, Germany,has an opening for a research position (full-time appointment) inPsycholinguistics with research expertise in language processing anddemonstrated experience in experimental work.
The position involves research and 4hrs/week teaching (in German) in thefield of experimental psycholinguistics in the B.A. and M.A. programs ofthe Department of German Studies, as well as administrative duties.
We welcome applications of candidates holding a doctorate degree orM.A./M.Sc. in psycholinguistics, linguistics, cognitive science,experimental psychology or a related field. A strong background inexperimental methods and statistical analysis is required. Also importantis the ability to become acquainted with new methods quickly. Experiencewith Eye Tracking and/or EEG is desired.
Salary: determined by the German civil servants standard (Entgeltgruppe 13TV-L).Duration: three years (with a potential extension of one year subject tofollow-up funding.)Starting date: March 1st, 2010 or later
