The Department of Linguistics, McGill University, invites applications fora tenure-track position in Syntax at the rank of Assistant Professor,effective 1 August 2011. Applicants should have a demonstrated researchspecialization in theoretical syntax; expertise in the following areas isan asset: syntax-phonology interface, morphology, field work.
General qualifications: PhD in linguistics and demonstrated excellence inresearch and teaching in the area(s) of specialization. Duties will includeundergraduate and graduate teaching, graduate research guidance andadministrative responsibilities.
Salary: McGill scale.
