Description:

The Program in Classics at the University of California, Davis seeks alecturer to teach Hindi/Urdu in a new and growing program for the 2010-11academic year. The lecturer will teach eight courses over three quarters,September 20, 2010 - June 9, 2011.

Applicant must have an M.A. or a Ph.D., or be A.B.D, preferably inHindi/Urdu or a related field. Applicant should have experience teachingHindi/Urdu as a second language at the college level. Salary is contingentupon qualifications and experience and the number of courses taught.Percent of employment is determined by number of courses taught.
