Assistant Professor/Experimental Linguist

The Linguistics Department at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey,New Brunswick, has a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professorlevel available beginning Fall 2011. Desirable expertise includesexperimental design, statistics and quantitative analysis. The successfulapplicant should have research interests that complement and relate tothose of the Linguistics Department faculty, which include phonetics,phonology, syntax, semantics, and language learnability. Applicants shouldhave an outstanding research program, a serious commitment to teaching bothundergraduate and graduate students, and a strong commitment toconstructive interaction between experimental and theoretical work inlinguistics.

Must be able to document that all requirements for PhD have been completedprior to appointment start date.
