Description:

The Department of Linguistics of the Faculty of Arts of the University ofOttawa invites applications for a tenure track position in syntax at theAssistant or Associate Professor level, commencing July 1, 2011. Applicantsshould have a Ph.D. in linguistics, specializing in syntax, with evidenceof research capabilities commensurate with experience. Preference will begiven to candidates able to teach in both English and French within aspecified period of time. For more detail on our programs, please visit ourweb site above.

The salary is determined in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

Applicants should submit a CV, representative samples of their research,and arrange for three (3) letters of recommendation to be sent directly toDr. Marie-Hélène Côté, Chair, Department of Linguistics.
