Position Description

We are looking for Linguists to work on in a linguistic developmentproject. Work load might be part-time or fulltime depending on the projectneeds. You are able to work from home, no relocation needed.

Required Skills/Background

- Mother tongue one of the following:

-Educational background in linguistics or philology in the candidate'snative language (listed above)-Experience in software development-Experience with at least one scripting language-Experience in document authoring, styling, and change control.-Ability to take initiative and manage oneself-The ability to deal effectively with people, requiring tact, courtesy,patience and an outgoing personality-Great attention to detail-Good communication skills-Good organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work in alogical and methodical way

Desired/Skills/Background

-Experience in analyzing language (recognition) and/or synthesizinglanguage (generation)-Experience in computational linguistics-Experience in computer assisted authoring or machine and automatedtranslation process-Experience in working in/with large international companies-Experience in working in a multicultural environment
